Do I need a food license / permit?
That depends on your city and how you sell. FoodBang doesn't issue licenses or vouch for you to the local authorities — you're the cook, you're responsible for following your local food-sale rules. If you're already cooking for the public, you probably know the drill.
My city isn't on FoodBang yet. Can I still apply?
Yes. Every city is open from day one — it just needs cooks and eaters to come alive. Apply, set up your menu, and start posting. We'll help you get the first eaters in your area onto the app.
Can I use my existing menu / prices?
100%. You set every price, every item, every portion size. We help you type it into the app on day one. Change it any time.
Is there a fee to join, or a subscription?
No. No signup fee. No subscription. No commission on orders. You don't pay us a cent — and the math stays that way.
